The North Carolina 4th Congressional District Democratic Party will elect nine delegates to represent the district at this summer's Democratic National Convention. The Democratic National Convention will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin between July 13-16, 2020. The convention serves as the formal nominating site for the 2020 Democratic nominee for president and vice president of the United States.
The North Carolina 4th Congressional District Democratic Party will elect Democratic National Convention delegates at its own annual convention, scheduled for April 25, 2020. All registered North Carolina Democratic voters are eligible to file a notice of candidacy to seek election as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention.
Filing opened December 1, 2019 and continues through March 26, 2020. Democratic National Convention delegates will be elected in accordance with the North Carolina Democratic Party Delegate Selection Plan.
